Day 1: Recognizing Our True Value in God's Eyes Reading: Psalm 139:13-18

Devotional: Just as the pastor illustrated with the crumpled $20 bill, God sees immense value in us regardless of our outward appearance or past experiences. Today's passage reminds us that God intricately formed us and knows us completely. Despite feeling worn or damaged by life's challenges, our worth to God never diminishes. Reflect on how God sees you - not as you see yourself in the mirror, but as His precious creation. How might embracing this truth change your self-perception and actions today?

Day 2: Trusting God's Promise Amidst Adversity Reading: Exodus 6:1-8

Devotional: Like the Israelites in Egypt, we often face situations that seem hopeless. Yet God reassures us of His promises and power, just as He did with Moses. When circumstances worsen, it's tempting to doubt God's plan. However, today's passage encourages us to "stop looking at the problem and start looking at the promise." What difficult situation are you facing? How can you shift your focus from the obstacles to God's faithfulness and promises?

Day 3: Embracing God's Call Despite Feelings of Inadequacy Reading: Exodus 4:10-17

Devotional: Moses felt unworthy and ill-equipped for the task God gave him, much like we often do when facing challenges. But God doesn't call the qualified; He qualifies the called. Your "faltering lips" or perceived inadequacies don't disqualify you from God's purpose. In fact, they may be the very reason He chose you, allowing His strength to shine through your weakness. What calling or task do you feel unequipped for? How might God be inviting you to trust Him more deeply through this?

Day 4: Finding God's Presence in Suffering Reading: Romans 5:3-5

Devotional: The Israelites experienced deep anguish in their bondage, yet God was working to deliver them. Similarly, our sufferings aren't absent of God's presence; rather, they can be the very means through which He develops our character and hope. The pastor spoke of "patient endurance" (hupomone) - choosing to remain under trials while trusting God. Reflect on a current struggle. How might God be using this to strengthen your faith and reveal more of Himself to you?

Day 5: Surrendering to God's Transformative Power Reading: 2 Corinthians 5:17

Devotional: The sermon emphasized our inability to fix ourselves, likening us to the wrecked truck that sat idle for years. True transformation comes only through surrendering to God and allowing Him to restore us. This process often requires "taking off our shoes" - leaving behind old habits, thought patterns, and behaviors that no longer serve God's purpose for us. What aspects of your life need surrendering to God today? How can you practically step into the "new creation" God is making you to be?
